When flipping through pictures of Lindsay Lohan’s arraignment I admittantly raised a disgusted eyebrow at her wardrobe choice.
I’m not one for convention, but a many times rehabbed has-been starlet with two mugshots under her belt facing three years for felony grand theft charges should at least cover her legs, right?
I wasn’t alone in my convictions and while Lohan tweeted her dismay that we all focused on the white Kimberly Ovitz dress (that was worn to symbolize her “innocence”) the frock was, hate to admit it, a smart business move.
Not only has the $545 dress sold out at most online retailers but rumor has it that Lohan was paid by Ovitz’s people to wear it.
So while most people in Lohan’s shoes would be mortified to make the dreaded courtroom walk for the third time in the past year, the humiliation certainly goes down a bit smoother with a nice chunk of change.
